Baby Flat Head Pillow & Portable Sleeping Pad is a specially designed pillow that protects babies’ heads from plagiocephaly. It can also be used as a portable sleeping pad for your baby to have a comfortable sleep anywhere. The unique design of the pillow takes into account the development of infants, allowing them to grow naturally and healthy.
Reduces the risk of plagiocephaly: Pediatricians design a head-rest that distributes pressure evenly over the skull and neck, which helps baby develop their proper shape. This prevents flat-head syndrome in infants by giving them an even surface to sleep on.
Ergonomic Design: Have you ever been told by a doctor to lay your baby down on their back? It's because they need the pressure that is distributed evenly over the top of their head. The ergonomic design helps them develop healthy, strong bones in and around their skull which leads to a good shape for it as well!
Helps prevent startle reflex: Built-in cushioned edges are an essential part of the beneficial design. It creates a cocoon feel that reassures baby and prevents startle reflex.
Provides ultimate comfort: The lounger is made for the delicate and sensitive skin of a newborn with breathable fabric that keeps their back cool.
Baby Sleep Safety: Reduce the Risk of SIDS
My name is Ashley. I’m 34 years old and live in Copley, Ohio. On Jan. 18, 2016 we welcomed our first child, James. He was born healthy at 6 lbs and 13 ounces. I stayed home with him as long as I could after his birth, which was about three months. I returned to work even though I didn’t really want to. We had found a fabulous babysitter that came highly recommended by some of our friends.
When James was one day shy of turning four months old I got a phone call that changed my life forever. Our babysitter called, she was hysterical and had said that James had turned blue and that he wasn’t breathing. She took him to the hospital.
When I finally made it to the hospital. My mother was standing there holding James and my husband was next to her crying. They both shook their heads, I knew he was gone but couldn’t understand why. I was told that he had been taking a nap and when our sitter went to check on him, he wasn’t breathing.
After a thorough investigation and autopsy it was concluded that he passed away from unknown reasons and it was ruled a SIDS death.
if I had found this product before, my son would still be alive, I use it for 7 months for my other son, 1 year.
